He attended the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and received his medical degree in 1976. Then, he served his internship and internal medicine residency at King/LA County Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Furthermore, he conducted his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Santora received board certification in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also board certified by the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in cardiovascular computed tomography.
